Collection: Seven Day Candles
Seven Day Candles are probably the most recognized form of ritual candle. They are glass encased, usually have a screen-printed image on them, and are often fixed (aka "dressed") with herbs and oils for a specific intention. Typically, the practitioner will read the behavior of the flame and the condition of the glass after the candle has finished, which allows them to divine on the effectiveness of the ritual.
Although the name implies these candles burn an entire week, they are really for seven days of ritual work. If burned straight through without extinguishing, they typically last around four to five days. Leaving candles burning unattended is not recommended, and it is important to burn Seven Day Candles in a safe location.
We offer candle dressing on each candle for an additional fee. If you would like us to dress your candle so that it is ready to light out of the box, please select the Dressed option before placing the candle in your cart.
If you would like to have us not only dress the candle, but also burn it ourselves, please purchase a Candle Burning Service and fill out the text box that will appear; let us know the situation you are burning a candle for, any relevant names (of people, businesses etc), and which candle you would like us to use if you have a preference. We will provide you a photo of the candle burning, a short burn summary of what our impressions were throughout the work, and a photo of the glass once the candle is finished.
