Poppy has earned quite a reputation for itself as a sedative and cause of forgetfulness. It's a very Lunar herb, but Poppy can also be identified with Neptune because of its dreamy but often illusory effects; most herbs were given planetary classification before Neptune had been discovered.

Poppy Seeds are good to use in confounding work as well as visionary rituals. Because each plant produces thousands of tiny seeds in it's short life, Poppy Seeds are also a symbol of fertility.
