This is not the highly fragrant tree, that's White Sandalwood. Red Sandalwood is better at being a vehicle for other aromas. Red Sandalwood is Venusian, but also associated with Jupiter as a fumigant for sacred spaces and for exorcisms.

Red Sandalwood can be employed in virtually any ritual where a lofty, serene, sanctified energy is required. It is also sometimes regarded as an amplifier for other ingredients in a formulation.
